Bali at Peak Electrical Capacity by 2019 with Inauguration of World Tallest Overhead Crossing Transmission Line.
The Jakarta Globe reports that $US410 million electrical power project for a 220-kilometer long overhead-crossing transmission line spanning the straits between Java and Bali is scheduled for completion in 2019.

Financed in part via a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Robert Pakpahan from the Indonesian Finance Ministry described “towers as high as the Eiffel.”
The high flung lines will have the capacity to transmit 1,500 megawatts of electricity.
