A workshop for managers, based on The GreenAsia Group trainings undertaken by AVU during 2009 and 2010, showed staff the level of commitment to environmental awareness that is demonstrated by the Green Teams. AVU, the first resort in Bali to achieve Green Globe certification in designer’s build category, has registered for accreditation with EarthCheck Premium. All staff will participate in similar workshops, designed to ensure that each staff member assists in the promotion of AVU as an environmentally responsible resort.
